Painted Sipper

This is a small cup inspired by a type of Japanese sake cup called a guinomi. However, it can be used for whiskey, tequila, or whatever you prefer to sip on!
This sipper is finished with a matte white glaze and decorated with oxide wash.
The cup pictured is one of a group with the identical design. The cup you order may very slighty from the one shown because all items are handmade and unique.
My pots are wheel thrown using a dark stoneware clay, and fired in an electric kiln to a mid range temperature (cone 6). I make all of the slips and glazes that are used to decorate my work.
