Wheel-thrown jar and lid. Bare clay exterior fired in our woodfired kiln. Food safe. 10oz volume. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
 
This pot was buried in coal beds on the floor of our kiln in the last wood firing. Because of this it has a remarkably two-sided appearance. The bluish gray side was charred by embers and the other side was surprisingly protected preserving the softness of the bare clay.
